The Ambience Town Project is the name of a game I have had ideas for over many years. This year, I hoped to make a playable demonstration of some of these ideas turned reality. In addition, I created a website to supplement the demonstration as well as release downloads as I further my progress in development.
The questions I had leading into this project were "How can I create a fun and entertaining game with my limited assets?" As I continued working on my project, I adapted my goals as necessary to fit my resources, including time.
Created a placeholder tileset to start creating graphics with
Created a functional movement and collision system
Implemented dialogue and a menu system
I have the basic mechanics on which I can build the rest of my game.
I have the website https://home.ambiencetown.com where I can host this project and others as development continues.
